And for fans of that kind of thing thats great, but it also makes it super inaccessible to casual players, who want the team-play and the heisting, but don't want the grind.

It's a game that says "your either in for the whole experience or your out". The game doesn't provide any flexibility to people who say "no I don't want to put in 300+ hours so that I unlock most things." Because unlike other games where difficulty determines your play preferences, in payday low difficultly punishes players with insanely low payouts. I don't feel pride from sinking hundreds of hours into a video game just to unlock sh*t, I just end up feeling like I wasted time.

The whole reason why my friends and I stopped playing payday 2 is because it is a pay-to-win endlessly grindy mess.ĭon't get me wrong there are some fantastic things about the the game, but there is also a lot of BS. Some people enjoy grindy video game experiences, but many of us don't. I can totally understand why that was frustrating for you, as someone trying to play the game as intended. I understand why people hack payday 2 so long as they aren't messing around with random players.

Personally, while I have never hacked not just payday 2 but any other game before.
